


El Sueno Equestrian Center
El Sueno Equestrian Center is a leading full service equestrian center situated amidst the peaceful citrus groves of Somis in Southern California. El Sueno offers classical training in 3-Day Eventing, Hunter/Jumpers and Dressage!
For your riding pleasure El Sueno features:

A 100 x 200 lighted, covered arena with European felt footing

A 5 acre Cross Country/ Derby Field with custom designed jumps, a water feature, banks, ditches and a galloping track
-
An Olympic size dressage court, mirrors and an outside warm-up track
-
Two 160 x 200 ft. jumping arenas, one of them lit for evening lessons
There are also several round pens and sanded turnouts for your convenience.
We offer several choices in stabling from pipe corrals to Malibu Stalls and the Main Barn. All of them include rubber mats, feeding 3 times a day and cleaning twice a day. El Sueno is also host to several nationally rated Dressage Shows, Derby Days, Fiesta Del Sueno Hunter/Jumper Shows, clinics and Pony Club Rallies.

Facility


MAIN BARN
Twenty-five stall barn: twenty-three stalls at twelve by twelve, two stalls at twelve by sixteen & a veterinarian stall. Stalls are cleaned twice a day. Horses are fed three times a day.
COVERED ARENA
Ninety feet wide by two hundred twenty feet long. Holds a standard dressage court, including a warm up track around the outside of the court. Arena is lit and well suited for evening riding. Arena is watered and groomed twice a day.
JUMPING ARENA
Each arena is one hundred sixty feet wide, two hundred eight feet long. One lit arena well suited for evening jumping. Arenas are watered and groomed twice a day.
DRESSAGE COURT
The Dressage Court is twenty meters wide by sixty meters long. Standard large dressage court with mirrors and a warm up track around the outside. The footing consists concrete plaster sand. Watered and groomed twice a day.
ROUND PENS (3)
Each round pen is sixty feet in diameter. Turnouts are groomed and watered daily.
SAND TURNOUTS (9)
Five turnouts are forty eight feet wide by seventy-five feet long. Three turnouts are thirty six feet by sixty feet.
DERBY FIELD
Cross Country / Derby Field designed by Don Sachey with custom made jumps including a water jump, banks, ditches and a galloping track.

Directions to El Sueno Equestrian Center
From the 118 or 23
Take the Los Angeles Avenue exit. Head west through Moorpark. Continue west about 7 miles, Turn right onto Donlon Road. Turn left onto Kingsgrove, approx. 1/2 mile find El Sueno on the left side. Follow road to parking lot near the Derby Field.
Alternate: Take the LA Ave. exit, continue West past Donlon Rd., just past the Somis Nut House, turn right on Bradley Rd. Turn right on N. Greentree Rd. At the bottom of the hill turn right into El Sueno Equestrian Center
From the 101 North
Take the 126 Freeway toward Santa Paula/Fillmore, exit the 118 and proceed East through Saticoy. Turn left on LA Ave. proceed approx. 5 miles, turn left on Bradley Rd., right on N. Greentree Rd. and right at the bottom of the hill into El Sueno Equestrian Center.
Alternate: Take Lewis exit in Camarillo. Head east on Lewis until it ends at the 118.
(A) Turn right, then immediate left onto Donlon Rd. Left onto Kingsgrove Dr., approx. 1/2 mile, find El Sueno Equestrian Center on the left.
(B) Turn left on LA Ave., just past the Somis Nut House, turn right on Bradley Rd., turn right on N. Greentree Rd., at the bottom of the hill turn right into El Sueno Equestrian Center.
From the 101 South
Take Lewis exit in Camarillo. Head east on Lewis until it ends
(A) At the 118, LA Ave., turn right, then immediate left onto Donlon Rd., left onto Kingsgrove aprpox. 1/2 mile find El Sueno on left hand side.
(B) Turn left on LA Ave., just past the Somis Nut House, turn right on Bradley Rd., turn right on N. Greentree Rd., at the bottom of the hill turn right into El Sueno Equestrian Center.
Alternate: Take the 23 Hwy North towards Fillmore. Exit at Los Angeles Avenue. Head west through Moorpark, turn right on Donlon. Turn left on to Kingsgrove, approx. 1/2 mile find El sueno Equestrian Center on the left hand side.
